Who is Dr. Danielle West-Stellick, ND?

From the time I was exposed to debate class in 7th grade, I remember my teacher, Mr. Hoffman, saying "I never want to get into an argument with her." While many decades have passed and in the process, I became a doctor of natural health, I never forgot that middle-school experience. SO you could say, I was a natural born litigant and negotiator.

What training does Dr. Danielle West-Stellick, ND have?

After spending upwards of 30 years in corporate America in a variety of management positions, I followed my passion for medicine, opting for the pursuit and attainment of a doctorate of natural healthcare, establishing and maintaining a very successful practice for 13 years. Upon closing my practice for personal reasons, I stayed in the medical field as a medical ghost writer and researcher.

Just because she's a doctor, how does Dr. West-Stellick understand what I'm going through?

I am not just a doctor, unfortunately, since childhood, I have also been a patient. And, for the first forty years of my life I was shuttled from doctor to doctor with a wide variety of maladies from neurological, cardiac and musculoskeletal to digestive; from chronic pain to inflammation and auto-immune... My last attempt at quality care was an outreach to Mayo Clinic. I took an entirely different approach and was finally heard by my primary care physician there. When I didn't take this approach with specialists there, the same problems I experienced in the medical "system" followed me through my lengthy and very costly recovery from unnecessary surgery. It was a learning experience that allows me to share a unique perspective with each client.

What makes your services so special?

The key is my ability to not only help you from a practical and medically oriented manner, speaking doctor speak to doctors and people speak with you, but I can empathize with your experiences, having been through most of the same experiences as you have at one time or another.

Where is your office located?
The simple answer is also the most accurate - my office is located where-ever you are! If you are in the hospital emergency department in Timbuktu, that's where I'll be; if you are on a beach in San Diego thinking it's time to consult with a patient advocate, that's where I'll be; if you are at your kitchen table in Chicago, that's where I'll be he key is my ability to not only help you from a practical and medically oriented manner, speaking doctor speak to doctors and people speak with you, but I can empathize with your experiences, having been through most of the same experiences as you have at one time or other.

How can you do that?

Through dramatic advances in technology, we can chat online, anywhere, through video capabilities using Skype or other face-to-face options, such as my favorite, Face Time. It really is the next best thing to being there.... I also have the flexibility in my personal life and devotion to your care that work together to enable me to travel with as little as a day's advance notice.

What about patient rights to privacy?

One of the wonderful things about HIPPA is that when we work together, with your express permission, doctors and facilities are required by their own laws to disclose your information to me for purposes of assessment and coordination of care. Additionally, in order to assure my own HIPPA compliance, I exclusively use Hushmail, an email facility designed as secure and HIPPA compliant that most physicians and healthcare institutions use.
